Burger King has launched an online marketing campaign with a Facebook ap called Whopper Sacrifice.
Here’s how it works. You take the ap, and install it in your Facebook profile, delete 10 of your “friends” and Burger King will give you a free WHOPPER burger.
But—be prepared—every friend you sacrifice will be notified that you prefer a burger to a buddy, and the “sacrifices” will appear in your Facebook feed.
Right now, more than 10,000 friendships have died in the online carnage – for a thousand hamburgers.
No bull.
Well, yes, bull, because a bull dies for every thousand burgers our erstwhile buddies eat.
